Therapists at CHS use a variety of therapeutic approaches, reflecting the main schools of psychotherapy: the psychodynamic school; the cognitive behavioural school; and eclecticism – or integration of the different therapeutic approaches.
There are different goals for psychotherapy including:
- dealing with severe mental disorders
- addressing specific anxieties and phobias
- helping people finding meaning and purpose in their lives.
Each of the different therapeutic approaches may be more suitable for attaining some goals than others.
