We are delighted that Acumen Public Affairs has made a generous donation to Community Help Service as part of our partnership with this year’s Darkness into Light event. On May 10, thousands of people around the world will walk from darkness into the light of dawn, raising funds and awareness for mental health support.
In Belgium, the money raised will go toward supporting the CHS Helpline. Darkness into Light is organized by Pieta, a charity dedicated to suicide prevention and mental health advocacy—goals that align closely with our 24/7 Helpline, which receives at least one call a day from a person in crisis.
Acumen Public Affairs, an independent consultancy based in Brussels, has donated €2,000 to CHS, making a significant contribution toward the costs of keeping our Helpline running around the clock, 365 days a year.
