50km for 50 Years of CHS

Leading up to 17th October we are inviting people to walk 50 km in celebration of CHS 50th anniversary. Gather pledges for each KM walked!

On Sunday 17th October we will meet to walk 5km or 10km (your choice) from the CHS office through Bois de la Cambre.

Refreshments afterwards at CHS,plus a visit to our next door neighbour's fascinating garden featured in the BBC production of Les Miserables.

CHS Calendar for 2022 is now available. Donations appreciated!

The Community Help Service annual calendar is much more than a calendar. It's full of useful, practical and sometimes 'out-of–the way' information for both newcomers to Brussels and long-term residents. All information is up to date and presented in an easily-accessible format.

The CHS calendar is a valuable reference source throughout the year – just one of the many reasons people collect it year after year.

Enjoy guided walks, learn how to cook Indian delicacies, create your own jewellery, stay fit with Pilates/Yoga/Zumba...the list is (almost) endless. 

No need to register, just show up (COVID regulations will be in place).

20km of Brussels 2021

BXL LA VILLE DE STAD

On Sunday 12 September 2021, at the Esplanade du Cinquantenaire.

The race, traditionally on the last Sunday of May, will exceptionally take place in September, taking all the health measures that will be required on that date into consideration.

In addition to the runners, walkers will also be welcome from now on. The duration of the race, which was fixed at 4 hours, will be extended to 6 hours.
